Pilgrim je pětičlenná dream folk/fairy folková skupina z Ostravska, která působila mezi lety 2007-2017. S kořeny v keltské hudbě čerpá inspiraci z dalších etnických i současných stylů. Spojením osobité poetiky textů a palety akustických nástrojů, kterým dominují kytary, niněra, housle a flétny tak vzniká jejich svébytné vyjádření vnímání světa uvnitř sebe i kolem nás.

Hunting of a Song
In a midnight rain
When all the stars fell down
There came young strong man
This night - it was time for his hunt
Hundred miles away

Bio a historie
Historie
Česká, fairy-folková/dream-folková kapela Pilgrim vznikla na podzim roku 2007, tehdy ještě bezejmenná, jako jazzový projekt bubeníka Kamila Jaroňe a jeho přátel klarinetisty a flétnisty Jana Nevyjela a houslistky Barbory Kadlíčkové. Bohužel kvůli odchodu mnoha dalších členů se od původního záměru upustilo. Právě tehdy fascinována prací bulharského skladatele Borislava Slavova (aka Bobby Glorian) a lidových písní Bretaně a Irska se kapela chopila folkového směru. Na začátku roku 2008 se k trojčlenné sestavě přidala akordeonistka a klavíristka Noemi Valentíny. V této čtveřici kapela vystupovala v okolí rodného Bohumína až do začátku roku 2009, kdy se po dvou nevydařených pokusech najít stabilního kytaristu objevil Vít Přibyla.
Kapela začala skládat vlastní písně a více vystupovat. Ve svých textech našla svůj název a stejně tak i označení fairy-folk. V září roku 2010 odchází zakládající člen a bubeník Kamil Jaroň. V létech 2010-2014 se soustředila kapela na vydání své debutové desky. Jako předznamenání je dokončen v březnu 2014 klip k písni Hunting of a Song a konečně, po čtyřech letech práce na materiálu zaznamenaném v domácích podmínkách, vychází v červenci 2014 deska s názvem The Roots. Rok 2015 patřil koncertování s novým bubeníkem Martinem "Satanem" Fickem a nahrávání EP "For Winter", které vyšlo v září 2016. Navazující premiéra klipu k písni For Winter se odehrála 21. prosince 2016. Naposledy sestavu doplnil bubeník a perkusista Petr "Žralok" Siekiera a krátce také Jakub Anděl Rajnoch, který zastoupil odcházejícího Jana Nevyjela. V současnosti je činnost skupiny z důvodů rozpadu jednoho partnerského vztahu a celkové únavy členů ukončena.
Od roku 2011, kdy se sbírka kapelních nástrojů rozšířila o dudy, niněru a davul, se část kapely věnuje také vlastní interpretaci středověké hudby. S tímto repertoárem pravidelně vystupuje ve společnosti přátel žonglérů na akcích hradů Kost a Bouzov.
