Bio a historie
MARGINALIA
I. INTRODUCTION (October 2008)
MARGINALIA is the brainchild of Wolf, well-known vocalist for bands like DARKSIDE and DEMOLITION, both from Austria. Wolf did a lot of touring over the past fifteen years and now it..s time to do something different for him. Originally MARGINALIA was based on the thoughts and feelings of a dear friend of Wolf and there had also been the intention to work it out musically together.
The lyrical concept for MARGINALIA has been put together a few years ago and Wolf wanted to find some musicians to bring the spirit to life. But obviously it was not the time back then. So the project remained untouched for a couple of years.
Eventually Wolf started a cooperation with Alessandro “Urmuz” Vagnoni, a very gifted drummer and composer from Italy, when they met a few weeks ago to perform together in DEMOLITION. Urmuz is known for his work in bands like INFERNAL POETRY, RESURRECTURIS, PRIORITY and other drum 'n bass and experimental projects.
As Wolf stands for the lyrics and the conceptional work on MARGINALIA, Urmuz has contributed most of the music and arrangements for now, composing and recording guitars and drums.
