Low-fi were founded in the end of 2002 by twins Alex and Adriano. The two brothers developed their musical tastes throughout the 90s, listening to bands like dEUS, Sonic Youth, Motorpsycho, Soulwax,Nin,Atr among many others. Immediately they hit the road playing everywhere: small clubs, town plazas, universities and contest with the likes of Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Linea 77, Meganoidi, 24 Grana, Il Teatro Degli Orrori,Super Elastic Bubble Plastic, Yuppie Flu, A Toys Orchestra. In June 2008 the Low-Fi contributed the track “Compagno” to the compilation “26 canzoni per Peppino Impastato”(by "Il Manifesto") with artists like Carmen Consoli, Marlene Kuntz, One Dimensional Man, Uzeda and Zu In September 2009 the band will contribute a track (“No man’s land”) to the compilation "Clowns and Jugglers", a Syd Barrett tribute released by Octopus Records.

On Jenuary 2010 the band crossed the europe trought Hungary,Poland,Germany and Croatia and Octopus Records released the first low-fi's EP.

Bio a historie

Kapela LOW-FI vznikla roku 2002.Trojice byla vytvořena dvojčaty Alessandrem a Adrianem,kteří využili pomocnou sílu Marca-jejich bubeníka.V pruběhu let se zúčastnili v několika kompilacích,s kapelou procestovali Itálii a východní evropu ,vystupovali v mnoha klubech a na festivalech.

V roce 2010 společnost Octopus record vydala jejich debutové EP.producentováno G.Fontanella(24 Grana at Key-Lab) a práce která komprimuje a sjednocuje popmusic s punkovými návrhy a electro-dark částmi.Aktuálně pracují na jejich prvním LP které bude vydáno v říjnu 2010.
