Eric Stanglin je bluesový kytarista a zpěvák z Oklahomy (USA). Tomuto druhu hudby propadl již v raném věku a od té doby se blues věnuje s oddaností sobě vlastní. Po několika letech strávených na scéně v Dallasu (Texas) se
přestěhoval do Prahy, kde hrál a spolupracoval s několika špičkovými bluesovými hudebníky.
Jeho současný projekt Eric Stanglin and The Juke Joint Heroes je hudební seskupení plné skvělých muzikantů – vedle Erica do něj patří také Jan Císař (kontrabas), Jiří Maršíček (kytara) a Jan Podzimek (bicí). Hrají opravdové, syrové
blues, jež je silně ovlivněno a inspirováno umělci jako Elmore James, Muddy Waters či Hound Dog Taylor.
V říjnu 2012 vydal s kapelou The Juke Joint Heroes autorské album Whistling Past the Graveyard.

Eric Stanglin is a blues guitarist and vocalist from Oklahoma (USA), where he developed his deep understanding of the blues at an early age. After a few years spent in Dallas, Texas, where he played with some great musicians and committed
himself fully to the blues, Eric moved to Prague, Czech Republic, which he now calls home. Having played and worked with some of the region's top blues musicians, he set out to bring his own brand of Southern blues to the local scene.
Heavily influenced by classic blues artists such as Muddy Waters, Elmore James and Hound Dog Taylor, Eric's current band, The Juke Joint Heroes, takes a “keep it simple” approach to the blues. Nuthin’ fancy, as they say in the South. With a deep
connection to roots music garnered through many years with the blues, Eric Stanglin and The Juke Joint Heroes play what can only be called the real stuff.
