Bio a historie

Kapela Voluptas vznikla z několika podivných individuí někdy na jaře 2006. Základ tvořili 4 členové (Guly, Pepák/Jasoň, Lukáš, Štěpán) + hostující Vašek. Každý ze zmíněných se také dříve věnoval různým hudebním stylům, výsledkem byla (více méně) snad celkem smysluplná, hudebně poměrně pestrá škála skladeb, postupně dostávající soudržnější formu :). Z různých důvodů byla kapela plně funkční sotva polovinu z oněch 11-ti let své dosavadní (ne)existence. Na podzim 2010 se k nám připojuje kytarista Martin, v průběhu roku 2011 odchází Lukáš a na podzim téhož roku přichází nový zpěvák Michal. Na podzim (zase podzim!) 2012 odchází kytarista Guly a počátkem roku 2013 ho nahrazuje Sup. Kapela opět střídavě funguje a (častěji spíše) nefunguje. Pod vlivem srpnového úplňku a Samhainu v roce 2015 vzniká první oficiální nahrávka, jež nese název Ved Rums Ende (o tom, jestli tomu říkat plnohodnotná deska, EP nebo demo, se budou vést ještě mnohé učené dišputace), která je v digitální podobě zvěřejněna 6. 6. 2016, v 6:06 ráno. 30. 10. 2016 vychází ve fyzické podobě jako CD. Na jaře 2017 Pepáka nahradil bubeník Péťa. Převážně v zimě a částečně i na jaře 2020 nahráváme první dlouhohrající desku Towards the Great White Nothing, která vyšla u labelu MetalGate 11. září 2020.
