We are very sorry to announce with sad heart the departure of our long years drummer Harri "Harald" Markkanen from the band. We wish him the best in life and studies and future musical career. Harri will always be a part of Strygon's history as the motor of the band in times we wanted to give up and his enthusiasm and spirit was giving us the power to go on. Cheers Harri and keep on rockin'

BELOW IS THE STATEMENT FROM HARRI HIMSELF:

Dear fans, my dear Strygon band mates from the present and the past, dear friends!

In this letter I am truly sorry to announce my departure from Strygon. You must believe it was not an easy decision after, almost six years of time, playing with these great friends. Unfortunately, my path took me back to my beloved country Finland, where I am studying, which takes too much time and effort to continue to play. As we had a serious talks with others some time ago, I dropped some tears when I told about my decision for them. I could have said, lets play still together, but having a chance to do so, would have taken so much from all of us, that it could have create uncertainty about the Strygons future. Such a selfisness could have destroyed so much what we have experienced, built, felt together in these amazing years of time. I have great respect on all the members of Strygon with whom I ´ve played and some other persons as well. And never the less, it is unbelievable how you all took me as your friend, mate and made feel I am one of you there. It is just unexpected pleasure to have met you all in these years. You have shown great support, true honesty, friendship to us and specially for myself. Life goes on and Strygon as well. Even I am leaving now , I am also so delighted as I heard, Strygon will go on with strong motivation and make new music for all of us to enjoy with it. Dear fans, I Love you all and always will remember you. You really mean still so much for me! I will never forget you!
And I´LL BE BACK! to meet you all for sure! Lets have a drink for us all and Be strong! Long live Strygon!

Takze aby ste vedeli tak sme zacali opat makat na novom CDcku so zatial pracovnym nazvom Tajomny Presporock. Ak sa zadari a preco by sa nemalo chceli by sme dve jazykove mutacie, anglicku a slovensku. Ak motyka vystreli tak by sme to chceli stihnut do konca roka 2014 takze drzte palce...

So to inform you, we started to work on a new CD with working title Mysterious Presporock (Slovak form of the original name of the city of Bratislava is Presporok or Prespork). If everything goes well we will have both slovak and english mutation of the CD. If nothing bad happens we would like to finnish the CD till the end of year...wish us good luck...
