As I bite the neck
Of the circled snake,
The past blood's flowing
For the future´s sake.
A lake of poison
And we dive right in.
Short lived growth
Exploiting the kin.
The time has run out
All laws are torn.
The future has died
Before it was born.
Everyday warning
We choose to ignore.
Father and son
Together in war.
The old don't care
What their children cried,
And the young ones have
Their hands firmly tied.
Palpable frustration
As no one slams the breaks.
We keep repeating
The same mistakes.
Evitable end
Being burned alive,
That's what's been chosen
By the mind of the hive.
The time has run out
All laws are torn.
The future has died
Before it was born.
We poured the gas
And are striking the match,
The hourglass is falling
And it's too late to catch.
How do you free yourself
From the circle of doom?
Will someone stop you
If you barricade the tomb?
Will others join in,
Do they feel the same way?
Will we be lucky enough
To never see a new day?
