The band was founded as a successor of the band called Alienation Mental, which has been a remarkable member of Prague grind scene since 1997. In 2011, after years of stagnating, three newcoming members recorded a last self-titled album and split up.
Three of four mentals immediately formed a new band, PERFECITIZEN. The initial line-up was Tomáš Mleziva on guitars,Olda Kamenetski on vocals and Jarda Haž on drums. From march 2011 to the end of the year, the band played several gigs and acquired some fans, mostly across the Czech republic. In July Petr Vaněk joined the band as bass player.
In autumn 2011, PERFECITIZEN recorded first three songs in Davos studio as a free on-line promo, called "Promo MMXI". The promo material has had mostly positive response from both media and public. After this record, Petr decided to quit due to very promising business offer abroad.
In 2012, the band continues to play gigs all over the Czech republic and keeps working on new songs for a debut full-length, which is scheduled to be recorded by the end of 2012.
