Born in 1980, the self-learner of bass guitar and double-bass has played in several bands for more than 14 years. He works as a teacher of geography in Žilina, Slovakia. Loving his wife, Matt is adorer of movie thrillers, documentary films, nature and survival techniques, photographs and of playing his basses. And recently, he enjoys his three childrens´ smiles.

Thanks to a lot of energy given, Matt started to compose his musical ideas or to create his own records, respectively, in the early 2000s. Moreover, some of the arrangements of the classical music have been used for teaching purposes in the Prague Music High School of Jaroslav Ježek thanks to Mr. Vladimír Hora. The evolution went through the pieces of Baroque and Classicistic music (Bass poetry). Widening the horizons of composition and bass playing techniques, Matt continued with recording his own masterpieces released on the Basschestra album.

And then, the transition era comes. Transition into wider musical and technical perspectives never experienced before.

It concerns with the compositions which arised over time of some 2-3 years. Experimenting with the sounds, developing his own approach to variations within harmonies and overall musical (thus instrumental) performance including sound improvements.

After meeting with first recording possibilities, the usage of the latest technologies and machines or other tools enabled Matt to experience incredible checkpoints of life. Fulfilled with music, variety of tunes, compositions and ideas were written by still evolving mind.
